Choosing a Denver Commercial Insurance Agency: Coverage Questions
Review Denver commercial insurance agencies by the coverage, carrier access and service they can actually provide. Start with liability, property, vehicles and employees.

Business Insurance
Business coverage starts with your actual operations
A restaurant, contractor, office or retailer will not have the same insurance questions. Before comparing commercial proposals, explain your work, property, employees, vehicles, contracts and locations to a licensed professional. The goal is to understand what each policy would do—not to assume a package covers every risk.
5280 Insurance Agency is a multi-carrier office, with Farmers as our primary carrier. We can write with the companies shown on our home page. Product, carrier and appointment availability vary by state and business; we do not promise access to every insurer or a guaranteed cost reduction.
Four areas to review together
Liability. Ask what the proposed general liability coverage addresses, what limits a contract might require and whether professional or cyber exposures need separate discussion. Read our general liability guide.
Property and income. Review the value and use of buildings, equipment and inventory, as well as deductibles and business-income provisions. A business owners policy can combine some coverages for eligible businesses, but exclusions and separate needs still matter.
Vehicles. Tell the team who drives, who owns the vehicles and whether employees use personal or rented vehicles for work. See our commercial auto guide.
Employees. Share job duties, payroll and the states where work is performed when discussing workers' compensation. A licensed professional can confirm available options and applicable requirements.
Questions to ask before deciding
- Which carriers and policy forms can you actually offer for my business?
- Which limits, deductibles and exclusions differ between proposals?
- Does a policy cover the people, property and activities I described?
- How will changes, renewals and claims questions be handled?
- What information is needed to confirm eligibility and pricing?
Insurance from 5280 Insurance Agency and separate offerings in the 5280 Coaching family have distinct roles; investment services are not part of this insurance review.
